WIP Wednesday

I won!  So excited I won a $25 gift card from Intrepid Thread for last weeks link up to WIP Wednesday over at Freshly Pieced.  Wahoo!  At first I thought it was unusual to get an email about the winner, then after reading it a few more times, I finally realized I was the winner.   Now to decide what to buy.

I do have progress to show.  I was able to sew up a few of the book blocks.  Hopefully this week I will be able to finish them up.

I love the Noteworthy line.  It makes me think of Spring, which I am so ready for. I am linking up with WIP Wednesday over at Freshly Pieced.  Come check it out!

  3. Beautiful colours, definitely Spring like. And your book blocks look great with them. I've been meaning to do a mini quilt with books for ages, must get round to it!

    1. Thanks Sally! This one sat on the "to make" list for while. Too many on the list and not enough time. =)

  4. Cindi...I have never heard of a Book Quilt, but having been an English teacher who still has a library in one of her upstairs rooms I wanna make one. I would even incorporate my embroidery on the spines. Love what you have dane and cannot wait to see the end product. I am going to check out the fabrics though my resolution was to NOT buy new fabric in 2014 except of backing and binding.

  5. I love reading, so a book quilt was a must. Embroidery would be so fun on the spines. =)

  6. The books look great! Have you decided how you want to lay them out in a quilt yet?

  7. I love Noteworthy. I have a wallhanging in my cube at work, and I have a mess of a quilt on my hands that I'm ripping the quilting out of currently. Long story, but at some point I'll re-quilt it and it will be all I hoped it would be! :) I've made drawstring bags out of the Bucket List fabric, oh, I just love it all!
