A New WIP

Yeah, another one. Cause I don't have enough already. =) Of course I think it might just be an excuse to buy more fabric.  I am going for queen size and need a little more fabric. (I always need more fabric, right?)

I finally cut into my Road 15 bundle.  It took a little bit before I actually made the first cut.  I am using this Stack & Whack Wonky Block  tutorial.  These were just test blocks to see how it would turn out.  I do need to vary my whacking a little more and can make bigger cuts for the border.  I am excited to see how this one turns out. I am going to use all the prints with a few repeating and am going to throw in some solids also.

I am linking up with WIP Wednesday over at Freshly Pieced. Come check it out!

  1. What a fun pattern.Even though these are test blocks, they will "vary" well in a Queen Size Quilt!! You go girl :)

  3. I really like your quilting. If you rotated the blocks you wouldn't need to vary your "whacking" too much, right? Cute fabric combo!

    1. Thanks Meg! The tutorial does suggest rotating them to vary the look, but with my blocks no matter how I rotate them they look the same. =)
