So I have a quilt top done. Just need to finish up piecing the back and then baste, quilt, and bind.
I followed the pattern on Don't Call Me Betsy for the sliced coin quilt. Love the pattern.
I had a plan all worked out for a pieced back, but then had to rethink it. Which in turn means I got to spend a little quality time with my seam ripper. We're good friends. =)
I also have more totes in the works. I will cut the fabric today, as long as my little tiger will let me. =) I am going to try making them a bit bigger than the first ones.
I am linking up with Freshly Pieced WIP Wednesday. Click the image to check it out.
Beautiful Quilt! :) What size did you make it?
ReplyDeleteThanks! The top ended up being 47x53. I did make a few changes to the cutting size from what the pattern called for.
DeleteHow lovely - so fresh looking: perfectly blowing in the wind :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I had to get my husband to help hold is down. It was blowing at little too much to get a good pic.

ReplyDeletethat is a great quilt, very nice, I had a great date with my seam ripper the other night too, so much fun!!
ReplyDeleteYes, such fun, until they get a little out of hand.=)
Deleteoh i love this. i'll have to put this on my "to make" list. every time there is a linky party that list keeps growing and growing. beautiful job!
ReplyDeleteMy list grows everytime too. I need to get organized and put my list all in one place, so I don't forget about any. =)
DeleteGreat quilt top, and I love the colors for your totes.
ReplyDeleteThanks! The purple chevron is one of my favorite prints.
